Early Childhood Education

Overview
The Diploma in Early Childhood Education is designed for those who want to assist young children in their educational and care activities, typically from birth to eight years old. This course is highly popular among international students and focuses on the social, mental, and physical development of young children. It also equips students with the skills to effectively communicate and interact with both children and their families, providing a solid foundation for a rewarding career in early childhood education.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Completion of secondary education (Year 12 or equivalent)
  • Some programs may require or recommend current First Aid certification, including CPR and anaphylaxis training.
  • A mandatory background check to ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.
  • Non-native English speakers must demonstrate proficiency through standardized tests: IELTS: Overall band score of 5 to 6.0, with no individual band score below 5.0. TOEFL: Minimum score of 60 to 80. PTE: Minimum score of 42 to 50.

 

Pathway to Australian Permanent Residency:
Graduates of the Diploma in Early Childhood Education have a pathway to Permanent Residency (PR) in Australia due to the high demand for qualified early childhood educators.
